NAGODZICE
The land in Nagodzice was purchased in 1996. It is located in the southern Kłodzko County, near the town of Międzylesie, in the protected area of Orlické hory / Bystřické hory – 52 hectares of mountain meadows at an altitude of 550–600 m above sea level, providing beautiful views of both Polish and Czech side.
Meditation courses with Polish and Czech teachers are organized on a regular basis.
The construction of the house started in May 2010. People mostly from Polish and Czech centres work on the project. Several retreat huts are also planned.
Its location close to the Czech border makes Nagodzice an ideal place for Czech-Polish encounters and international co-operation. Regular visitors include people from Wroclaw (120 km), Opole (140 km), Poznan (200 km) and Slupsk in the very North of Poland (570 km). For some Czech centres, Nagodzice is the nearest retreat place: Sumperk (40 km), Hradec Kralove (80 km), Olomouc (100 km), but it is not far from Prague (160 km) or Brno (140 km) either.
Working on a project is always an opportunity to learn something new and give up stiff ideas about how things should be. This also applies when people speak the same language. The international co-operation in Nagodzice is even a bigger challenge and opportunity for development.
Whoever has experienced the unique atmosphere of Nagodzice has that place imprinted in memory: wild nature, long nights by campfire, million stars above and most importantly – enthusiastic, open people who gave their hearts to Nagodzice. It is a beautiful place where one can really meet with space.
